Audit Trail

The Audit Trail page displays the complete log of system actions, per ISO 17025 §7.11.

Button	Action
	Filters — Open/close the filter panel. A red dot indicates active filters
	Export CSV — Download table data as a CSV file
	Print — Generate a PDF of the current view
	Help — Open the help dialog
	Search — Quick search through table data

This page is read-only — additions, modifications and deletions are not allowed.

Columns

Column	Description
Date	Date and time of the action
User	The user who performed the action
Action	Create, Update or Delete
Entity	Record type (for example Sample, Measurement, Acceptance Criteria)
Record	The record's own identifier (for example report number, sample code)
Reason	Change justification (if recorded)

Filters

Filter by entity type (33 types), action (Create, Update, Delete), date range and max records.

Viewing an entry

Clicking a row (or the "Details" button in the row actions menu) opens a dialog with the full per-field before → after diff, a link to open the record itself (where available), and any recorded reason. The row actions menu also allows printing a PDF of just that single entry.

Per-record history

Besides the lab-wide Audit Trail page (Lab Director only), every record shows its own change history inline, through the "Record History" panel:

On the analysis page (Analyses → open a record), below the measurements, the panel shows changes to the analysis record and all of its measurements in one chronological list — each row tagged with its entity type (e.g. Analysis Record, Measurement).
In the sample edit dialog, the same panel shows the sample's field-level changes.

Each entry shows the action, user, timestamp, and the per-field before → after diff. The panel is read-only and visible to every signed-in user (ISO 17025 §7.5 & §8.4); the full Audit Trail page stays Lab-Director-only.
