Contract Coverage

Contract Coverage is the inverse of a list of agreements. A list shows what exists; an assessor asks what is missing. This page answers exactly that: which customers have work with no retained contract-review record (ISO/IEC 17025 §7.1.8).

When a sample counts as uncovered

All three must hold:

  1. The sample has a customer. Anonymous samples do not count.
  2. The sample does not belong to an order. An order is itself a review record.
  3. The customer had no active agreement on the sample's date.

The third point is the substantive one: the agreement is checked against the sample's own date, not against today. An agreement that started after the work was done does not cover it.

Only active agreements count. Drafts and superseded ones cover nothing.

Rows are ordered worst first: the contact costing the laboratory the most evidence is at the top.

Clicking a row opens the customer's record, where the agreements live.

If this is missing

  • 🔴 With no agreement, every sample of that customer's that does not belong to an order shows on

this page as uncovered. Nothing is blocked — the §7.1.8 review

record is simply missing.

  • 🔴 The agreement is checked against the sample's date, not today. One that started after the

work does not cover it; the earlier period stays open and the coverage page says so explicitly.

  • Only active agreements count. Drafts and superseded rows cover nothing.
  • With no stated decision rule, the sample falls back to the criterion's default — which may be

simple acceptance, the most aggressive option for the customer.

Notes

  • When there are no gaps, the page says so plainly in a green panel.
  • If loading fails, a red message appears rather than an empty table: an empty table would read wrongly as "no gaps".
  • The page has no filters, search or export; it is a report.
