Getting Started with Agrometrisis

Welcome to Agrometrisis — the soil & environmental analysis laboratory management system.

The first time you sign in

On your first sign-in a Welcome to Agrometrisis dialog offers three ways to find your way around:

OptionWhat it does
DocumentationOpens the full user guide — step-by-step guides for every workflow
AskAsk the assistant in plain language
Application TourA quick walk-through of the list-page basics (desktop only)

The dialog appears once per user. All three remain available afterwards: Documentation on F1, Ask from the menu, and the Tour whenever you want it.

Basic Navigation

The menu is organised into groups. The ones you will use most:

GroupWhat it holds
Daily WorkSamples, receipt, collection, worklists, analyses
Quality ControlAcceptance criteria, control samples, control series, proficiency testing
Reagents & StorageReagents, lots, storage locations, aliquot archive
ISO 17025Quality system, CAPA & findings, personnel & competency, records lifecycle
InvoicingOrders, invoices, price list, contracts
Analysis ConfigurationEquipment, methods & analyses, reference data (crops, geography, observations)

The geography lists — regions, regional units, municipalities, cities, toponyms — live under Analysis Configuration → Reference Data, alongside the other fixed lists.

The Settings gear is separate from the menu: that is where the laboratory's own details, numbering, print templates, backups and your personal preferences live.

Use the search box on each list's toolbar to filter results. For system-wide search, press Ctrl + K from anywhere in the app to open the command palette.

Help

On each page you'll find the "?" icon for more information on that specific functionality. To open the documentation module (full user guide), press F1 or ? from anywhere in the app.

Many pages also offer an audio narration (🎧) and video guides inside the help dialog. Playback isn't lost when you close the dialog: with the button — or simply by closing the dialog while it plays — the narration or video continues in a small floating panel, so you can follow the guide while working on the page itself, even as you navigate between pages. Drag the panel to move it and close it with . If you'd rather stop playback, press pause before closing the help.
