The Lab Methods page manages the laboratory's analytical methods: the detection limits, the SOP, the metrological traceability, and how often the method is checked.

Every method must state what its results are traceable to. The pathway is one of: the SI, a certified reference material, a reference method, or a consensus standard. The field records which one; the rationale for the choice is documented in the SOP.
The two intervals are not calendar reminders: they are the two silent arms of §7.7. A method that has not run an internal quality check within its QC interval, or has not taken part in an interlaboratory comparison within its PT interval, raises no other signal by itself — which is why both feed the quality-control alerts.
