Regional Units

The Regional Units page is the second level of the geographic hierarchy. Each unit belongs to

one region and gathers that region's municipalities.

Menu path: Analysis Configuration → Reference Data → Regional units.

Toolbar

ButtonAction
Add — Create a new record
Columns — Show/hide table columns
Filters — Open/close the filter panel. A red dot indicates active filters
Export CSV — Download table data as a CSV file
Orientation — Toggle between portrait and landscape printing
Print — Generate a PDF of the current view
Help — Open the help dialog
Search — Quick search through table data

Record Actions

Clicking the icon on each row shows:

  • Edit — Open the edit form
  • Delete — Delete the record (with confirmation)

Fields

FieldDescription
NameThe unit name (e.g. Laconia).
RegionThe region it belongs to.
Source idThe identifier from the official source this row was imported from.

Connects to

  • Regions — the parent of every unit.
  • Municipalities — each municipality belongs to one unit.

If this is missing

  • Municipalities cannot be created without a unit, which breaks the chain down to the sample.
  • A unit filed under the wrong region raises no error anywhere: sample registration carries on

as normal. The mistake only surfaces when somebody reads the whole geographic path.
