Search All Records

The Search All Records page answers one question: does this record still exist, and in what state? It searches active records, archived ones and destroyed ones at the same time (ISO/IEC 17025 §8.4).

Found under: ISO 17025 → Records Lifecycle → Search All Records.

Type at least two characters; below that nothing is searched. Results refresh as you type.

ControlWhat it does
StatesThree checkboxes — Active, Archived, Disposed; all three start ticked
Record typeNarrows to a single type
Max per stateHow many results per state; defaults to 50

The three states

StateWhat is leftWhat you can do
ActiveThe normal recordOpen — takes you to its page
ArchivedA full read-only copy of the dataView archived
DisposedOnly the disposition metadataView manifest

A disposed record has no content to show: the manifest evidences that it existed, when it was destroyed and under which batch, and that is all that is retained for compliance.

Notes

  • 🔴 The limit is per state, not overall. At the default of 50, each of the three sections is truncated at 50 with no warning. Raise it if you are searching exhaustively.
  • Open covers 35 record types. Seven of them open the record itself by a deep link — sample, analysis, contact, deviation, corrective action and two more. The rest open the list the record lives in, and say so.
  • The page has no column grid, export or print — it is a search tool.
