USB Backup

Navigation: Settings → System → Backup → USB

Store backups on a local USB drive or external disk.

Settings Fields

FieldDescription
USB PathThe base path of the USB drive (e.g. /media/usb0) — selected from a list of connected drives (refresh button) or typed in manually
SubfolderOptional subfolder within the USB drive (e.g. agrometrisis-backups)
Auto-BackupEnable/disable automatic backup to USB

How It Works

  • Backups are stored as .zip files in the specified folder
  • If the USB drive is not connected during a scheduled backup, an error is logged
Tip: Ideal for labs without internet access (air-gapped). Combine with the backup scheduler for automatic backups.
