Notification Preferences
The Notifications tab controls which push notifications you receive on your device, by event type, along with quiet hours, the morning summary, and the reminder lead time for due dates.

Notifications by Event Type
| Field | Description |

| Sample status changes | Notified when a sample moves between statuses |
| Due date reminders | Daily reminder for samples approaching their delivery deadline |
| QC alerts | Alerts for deviations, overdue instrument calibrations, and CAPA deadlines |
| Assignments | Notified when a sample is assigned to you |
| Document/SOP changes | Notified when a controlled document or SOP changes status |
| Notification batching | Groups routine notifications and delivers them every 5 minutes instead of one-by-one — critical alerts (QC, instruments, CAPA) always arrive immediately |
Quiet Hours & Morning Summary

| Quiet hours (From / To) | Time window during which routine notifications are held and delivered after it ends — critical alerts still come through |
| Morning summary | A single daily notification summarizing pending samples, overdue instruments, open deviations, and open CAPAs |
| Send time | The time the morning summary is sent |
Reminder Lead Time
| Field | Description |
|---|
| Reminder lead time | How far in advance of the due date you want a reminder: 1 hour, 1 day, or 3 days |
Push notifications require the mobile app (Android).
