Quality Manual

The Quality Manual section holds the three statements the laboratory's quality system rests on, and how often management reviews it.

Navigation: Settings → Identity & Accreditation → Quality Manual

Fields

FieldDescription
Quality Policy§8.2 — management's commitment to the quality system
Quality Objectives§8.2 — the measurable objectives the laboratory sets
Impartiality Commitment§4.1.1 — the declaration that laboratory activities are carried out impartially
Management Review Frequency (months)How many months between reviews — see below

The three texts are free-form: you write your own wording, not a choice from a list. These are the texts an assessor reads when they ask "what is your policy".

The review frequency

The field is not a calendar reminder. It defines the §8.9 cycle the system tracks:

  • Filled in — the laboratory states how many months between reviews, and a review that runs late becomes visible.
  • Blank — no cadence is enforced. Choose it deliberately: it means nobody will remind you that the time has passed.
