NotesAdditional remarks

Training is not competence

A training record says someone attended something. It does not say the laboratory authorized them to do it. The two live apart:

WhereWhat it holds
Training RecordsWhat was attended, when, from which provider, with what certificate
Competency RequirementsWhat the laboratory requires for each function
User CompetenciesWho is authorized, from when, and until when

All three, together with competence monitoring, are gathered into the Personnel Audit Pack printed from the Users page.

Points at — this page does not stand without these:

Notes

  • The certificate's Expiry shows in red once it has passed.
  • The Assessment column shows whether a competency assessment was done for that particular training — it does not stand in for the authorization.
