Notifications

The notification system keeps you informed about important changes, pending tasks and quality control alerts without needing to check each page individually.

Viewing Notifications

The bell icon in the navigation bar shows a count of unread notifications. Click it to view the notification list.

  • Unread notifications appear in bold
  • Click a notification to navigate to the related record
  • Click "Mark as read" to remove it from unread

Notification Types

QC AlertsFailures or out-of-limit measurements in control samples
Status ChangesStatus updates for samples, analyses or orders
Due DatesReminders for upcoming or overdue tasks

Push Notifications (Mobile)

On mobile devices, notifications are delivered as push notifications even when the app is in the background. Enable push notifications from Settings → Notifications.

QC Digest Emails

Quality control summaries are sent via email on a daily or weekly basis. Configure the frequency from Settings → Notifications → QC Digest Frequency.

Marking as Read

  • Individual: Click on the notification or the ✓ icon
  • Bulk: Click "Mark all as read" at the top of the list
Tip: QC notifications remain in the history even after being read, for audit trail purposes.
